Chat

Based on your account settings, the system displays the Chat hyperlink in the utility navigation area. You can use the chat feature to discuss any system-related issues and questions online with a customer service representative.

To chat online with a representative:

  1. In the utility navigation area, click Chat. The system displays the chat session in a new browser window.

It is important to know that each time you access a new page, the text of the Chat hyperlink updates to reflect the new chat status.

Chat hyperlink text Indicates Expected results
Chat A representative is available to assist you. The system displays the chat session in a new browser window; a representative assists you immediately.
Chat (busy) A representative is available, but other users are in queue before you. The system displays the chat session in a new browser window; a representative will assist you when available.
Chat (offline) No representative is available to assist you.
