Download Transactions

The transaction download feature enables you to save archival copies of checking and savings transactions for multiple accounts that the system has processed.

Notes:

  • For the .csv format, the transactions that you download include both processed and pending transactions.
  • For the .ofx, .qbo, .qfx, or .bai format, the transactions that you download only include processed transactions.
  • For the .csv, and .bai formats, the system downloads all the transactions for multiple accounts in a consolidated file.
  • For the .qfx, .ofx, and .qbo formats, the system downloads a ZIP file. This ZIP file consists of multiple consolidated account files, which in turn has all the transactions.
  • The system displays the Download Transactions option for all account types.

To download the transactions:

  1. Specify the transaction export criteria.
    ActivitySelect the appropriate activity.
    All Transactionsindicates that the system downloads all transactions
    Specific date

    indicates that the system downloads transactions made on a specific date

     

    To search transactions for a specific date:

    1. Select Date from the Activity drop-down list. The system displays the Date field.

    2. Type the date in the DD/MM/YYYY format.

    Date range

    indicates that the system downloads transactions that occurred between a date range.

     

    To search transaction for a date range:

    1. Select Date from the Activity drop-down list. The system displays the Start date and End date fields.
    2. Type the date (MM/DD/YYYY) in both the Start date and End date fields.

     

    Note: The file that you download using this option includes transactions with dates that match the dates that you specified or that fall within the date range that you specified.

  2. From the Type drop-down list, select the type of transactions that you wish to download (for example, credits, debits, or checks).
  3. From the Format drop-down list, select the format of the download file.
    Comma-separated values (.csv)indicates a comma-separated values (.csv) download file
    Microsoft Money (.ofx)indicates a Microsoft money (.ofx) download file
    QuickBooks 2005 & newer (.qbo)indicates a Quickbooks 2005 & newer (.qbo) download file
    Quicken 2005 & newer (.qfx)indicates a Quicken 2005 & newer (.qfx) download file
    BAI2 (.bai)indicates a BAI2 (.bai) download file

Note:

You may have access to all or only some of these download formats.

  1. Optional: If you select the BAI2 (.bai) format from the Format drop-down list, the system displays the following additional fields.
    Receiver identificationType the receiver identification information.
    Ultimate receiver identificationType the ultimate receiver identification information.
    Group statusSelect the group status.
  1. From the Select Accounts section, use the check-box to select one or more account for which you wish to download the transactions.
  1. Click Download Transactions. The system downloads the transaction file.

Note:

  • For the .csv, and .bai formats, the system downloads the file in the NNNNNN-YYYY-MM-DD.XXX format.

NNNNNN indicates the account's number.

YYYY-MM-DD indicates the year, month, and day that the system generated the file.

XXX indicates the file name extension for the file format that you specified.

  • For the .qfx, .ofx, and .qbo formats, the system downloads a ZIP file in the Transactions-YYYY-MM-DD.zip format.

YYYY-MM-DD indicates the year, month, and day that the system generated the file.

  • When you download transactions after specifying the download criteria, the system retains your selected download options (with the exception of a specific date, start date, or end date) for future downloads.
  • If the Business Online banking service uses account masking for your accounts, the account number in the filename consists of only the unmasked numbers.

 

The transaction file that you download includes the following information:

Account

The account number for which you have downloaded the transaction information.

ChkRef

For checks you wrote against the account, the check number of the check.

For other the transactions, the reference number that the system associates with the transaction.

Note:

The transaction file that you downloaded may not display any data in this field if it is not applicable, because every transaction may not have a check number.

Debit

Debit amount affecting the account balance

For deposit accounts, debits remove money from your account.

Credit

Credit amount affecting the account balance

For deposit accounts, credits add money to you accounts.

Balance

The account balance after the system settles the transaction.

Date

The date on which the system posted the transaction.

Description

The description that the system associated with the transaction.

Note:

If the file that you download is in a .csv format, then a pending transaction displays the description "(pending)."
