Transfer funds from a checking account to a loan account
- On the Pay or transfer section expand Internal. The system displays the Internal transfer form.
- From the From account drop-down list, select the originating checking account. The system displays the available balance of the account that you select from the From account drop-down list.
Note:
If you do not have permissions to inquire on accounts, the system does not display the account balance information under the From account field.
- From the To account drop-down list, select the destination loan account. The system displays the principal balance of the account you select from the To account drop-down list.
Note:
- If you do not have permissions to inquire on accounts, the system does not display the account balance information under the To account field.
- If you select a closed account from the To account drop-down list, the system does not display the principal balance for that account.
- In the Date field, either accept the default date that the system provides, select a date from the date picker, or type a new date in the MM/DD/YYYY format. The system defaults to the earliest available transfer date. This is the date that the system completes the transfer.
Note:
Based on your account settings, you may not be able to transfer funds past a certain date.
- Next to the Date field, the system displays the Repeat check box. Select the Repeat check box to set the frequency for the transfer that you are issuing.

transfers that the system is yet to issue.Depending on the transfer frequency that you select from the Frequency drop-down list, select one of the following.
Until I delete it indicates that the system issues the internal transfers until you delete the transfer.
Note: If you select this option, the system repeats the transfer 999 times.
For the total number of <blank> times indicates the number of times that you want the system to issue the internal transfer. The number of recurrences can be as low as two times and as high as 999 times.
Example: If you type the number 3 in the text box, the system repeats the transfer two more times after the initial transfer.
Until indicates the date that you want the system to stop issuing the internal transfer. Type the date in the MM/DD/YYYY format or select the date.
Note: Ensure that the date you type or select here falls after the date that you already typed in the Date field.
If the projected last date falls on a date when the financial institution is closed, Business Online makes your last transfer on the next open date. For example, if the last projected transfer date falls on a Sunday, Business Online completes the last transfer on the following Monday.
Important: This option calculates the number of times that the system can issue the internal transfer. If you create an internal transfer using this option, the next time that you edit the transfer, the system displays the For the total number of times option with a number in the text box.

In the Amount field, type the amount that you want to transfer.

If you are transferring funds to a loan account then, based on your reason for making the payment on your loan, select one of the following:
If Then The regular payment amount matches the total amount due Select Total amount currently due to indicate that you want to pay the total amount that is currently due (for example, $500) on your loan.
Note: The system may displays the due date (in the MM/DD/YYYY format) next to the regular payment amount.
You only have access to the regular loan payment type
The regular payment amount and the total amount due are not equal
Select Regular payment amount of to indicate that you want to pay the regular payment amount that is currently due (for example, $500) on your loan.
Note: The system may display the due date (in the MM/DD/YYYY format) next to the regular payment amount.
You only have access to interest payments Select Interest payment of to indicate that you want to pay the accrued interest (for example, $250) on your loan.
Important: Select this option if you only want to pay the accrued interest on the loan
You have access to all payment types Select one of the following from the Payment of drop-down list and type the amount that you want to .
Regular indicates that you want to pay the regular amount that is currently due on your loan (for example, $500).
Interest indicates that you want to pay the accrued interest on your loan (for example, $500).
Principal indicates that you want to pay the principal amount due on your loan (for example, $500).
- Optional: In the Description field, type a description of the transaction.
- Click Preview transfer. The system displays a preview of the transfer.
- Verify the transaction details and then complete one of the following actions.
To Click this button Complete the transfer Click Complete transfer. Based on your internal transfer template settings the system either displays a success message along with a reference number or a pending approval message along with a reference number. Make a note of the reference number in case you have any questions about the transfer in the future.
Note: After you have successfully issued an internal transfer, the system displays a print icon (
). Click the print icon to print the issued internal transfer.Or
Click Create another transfer to initiate a new transfer.
Edit the transfer Click Edit to modify the information you established for the transfer. The system displays the Edit button only:
- If you have rights to create the same internal transfer on the current business day. That means:
- You have the rights to select an account from the From account drop-down list.
- You have the rights to select an account from the To account drop-down list along with the payment type when the transfer that you are editing is "Transfer to a loan account from Checking or Savings account."
- Next to the transfer that you issued.
Cancel the transfer Click Cancel to cancel the transfer.
