Transactions

The transaction table on the Account information page displays transaction information for the account that you select.

We have broken up the discussion of the Transactions in to smaller topics that focus on a particular feature. Click one of the topic links to display the information about that topic. When you complete your review of that particular topic, you can click the topic link again to close it.

Print (icon)

To print transactions:

  1. In the header row of the Transaction section, click the icon. The system displays the browser printing settings page along with the print preview.
  1. Select the appropriate printing options.
  2. Depending on the browser, click Print or OK. The system sends the account balance information to the printer that you selected.

Debit and credit totals

If your financial institution supports totaling, the system displays the total debit and credit amounts for the account that you select. Additionally, if you search transactions based on check, amount, and check number, the system, along with the transactions may display that it does not support the total for your search criteria.

If due to some technical issues the system is unable to display the total debit and credit amounts, it may display the "Totals are currently unavailable. Try again later." message along with the transactions.

Sort transactions

On the Account information page, a vertical arrow ( or ) identifies how the system sorted the column. You can sort the transaction list by any column header that contains a vertical double-arrow ().

You can sort transactions by date, description, or amount.

To change the sort order of transactions:

  • Click a sortable column header. The system re-sorts currently visible transactions based on the column that you selected, and the column header updates to indicate the direction of the sort. Click the column header again to reverse the sort order.
  • If you retrieve additional transactions after sorting by a column, the Business Online banking service updates the sort order to display all transactions in descending date order.
  • For non-loan accounts, the system displays the Balance column only when you sort transactions by the Date column. The system does not display the Balance column for loans.

Retrieve additional transactions

To display the most relevant information to you as quickly as possible when you access the Account information page, in the Transactions section Business Online displays only the most recent transactions.

To retrieve additional transactions:

  • Click the More transactions button. The system displays additional set of transactions.
  • Click the All transactions button. The system starts loading all the transactions for the account as per the search criteria that you select and replaces the All transactions button with the Pause loading button.
  • Optional: Click the Pause loading button. The system discontinues loading more transactions and replaces the Pause loading button with the Continue loading button.
  • Optional: Click the Continue loading button. The system continues loading more transactions and replaces the Continue loading button with the Pause loading button.

View loan transfer detail

On the Account information page, transactions that the system has credited to (paid to) loan accounts may include additional useful information about the payment. By default, the Transactions section does not display this information.

To view loan transaction detail:

  • Click the Show Details link that the system displays with a loan payment. The system displays the loan details and it replaces the Show Details link with the Hide Details link.

Depending on the loan type and transaction type, some or all of the following information may appear beneath the transaction description:

  • Click the Hide Details link that the system displays with a loan payment. The system hides the loan details and it replaces the Hide Details link with the Show Details link.
