Search transactions
On the Account information page, you can use the transaction search feature to quickly find the transactions that the system has posted. With the transaction search feature you can find transactions for your checking, savings, or loan accounts. This feature is available on the right side of the Accounts page.
Note:
Transaction search results only include posted and pending transactions.
To search for checking or savings transactions:
- Specify the search criteria.
Activity Select the appropriate activity.
All Transactions indicates that the search results display all transactions Current business day indicates that the search results display transactions from the current business day cycle Previous business day indicates that the search results display transactions from the previous business day cycle Current Activity indicates that the search results display transactions on the basis of current account activity
Last statement indicates that the search results display transactions that the system included in the last account statement Specific date indicates that the search results display transactions made on a specific date
To search transaction for a specific date:
Select Date from the Activity drop-down list. The system displays the Date field.
Type the date in DD/MM/YYYY format.
Date range indicates that the search results display transactions that occurred in between a date range.
To search transaction for a date range:
- Select Date from the Activity drop-down list. The system displays the Start date and End date fields.
- Type the date (MM/DD/YYYY) in both the Start date and End date fields.
Note:
For searches by date range, the search results include transactions with dates that match the dates that you specified or that fall within the range that you specified.
Type Select the appropriate transaction type.
All indicates that the system displays all transactions Credits indicates that the system only displays credit transactions Debits indicates that the system only displays debit transactions Checks indicates that the system displays transactions completed using checks
Amount or amount range Type either a dollar amount (for example, 75.00) or an amount range (for example, 25.00-50.00).
Notes:
- The transaction search returns all transactions that match the amount criteria, regardless of whether the transaction is a debit or a credit. For example, a search for 75.00 returns transactions that appear as either 75.00 or -75.00.
- You can optionally include the dollar sign ($) or the decimal amount (.00).
- For searches by amount range, the search includes amounts that match the values or fall within the range.
Check number or check range Type either a check number (for example, 101) or a range of check numbers (for example, 101-120).
- Click Search. The system displays the transactions that match the criteria in the Transactions section.
Notes:
- If you are searching transactions for a single check and the system finds no matching transactions, then, based on your account settings the system displays that it did not find transactions that meet your search criteria. Additionally, it displays the Create a stop payment for check XXXX hyperlink. Where XXXX is the check number that you typed in the search.
- If you are searching for transactions based on a range of check numbers or an amount or a range of amounts and the system finds no matching transactions, then, the system displays that it did not find transactions that meet your search criteria.
- Optional: To create a stop payment for the check number that you typed in the search, click the Create a stop payment for check XXXX hyperlink. The system displays the Create a stop payment page.
To search loan transactions:
- Specify the search criteria.
Activity Select the appropriate activity.
All Transactions indicates that the search results display all transactions Current business day indicates that the search results display transactions from the current business day cycle Previous business day indicates that the search results display transactions from the previous business day cycle Current Activity indicates that the search results display transactions based on current account activity
Last statement indicates that the search results display transactions that the system included in the last account statement Current year indicates that the search results display all transactions of current year
Previous year indicates that the search results display all transactions of previous year.
Specific date indicates that the search results display transactions made on a specific date
To search transaction for a specific date:
Select Date from the Activity drop-down list. The system displays the Date field.
Type the date in DD/MM/YYYY format.
Date range indicates that the search results display transactions that occurred between a date range
To search transaction for a date range:
- Select Date from the Activity drop-down list. The system displays the Start date and End date fields.
- Type the date (MM/DD/YYYY) in both the Start date and End date fields.
